The
Well
Spring
Project
aims
to assist children, families and communities impacted by major life challenges
find strength and renewal through engaging the imagination in creative discovery
processes. Myths and legends are concerned with challenging life situations.
Group storytelling provides children with a once removed vantage point from
which they may begin to explore, understand and adapt to change. Developed
by Well Spring Project Director Hanna Takashige
in response to a sudden loss of life in a pre-school community, this storytelling
program is partially funded by the early childhood educational foundation
First 5 Marin.
